Supporting You and Your Baby Through Movement, Breath, and Connection

Pregnancy is a beautiful and deeply transformative journey. As your body changes and prepares to welcome new life, it deserves gentle support, care, and understanding.

Through Pregnancy Yoga, I create a safe and nurturing space where expectant mothers can move mindfully, breathe deeply, and reconnect with their bodies. My goal is to support you physically, emotionally, and mentally during this special time, helping you feel stronger, calmer, and more confident as you prepare for birth and motherhood.

What Pregnancy Yoga Means to Me

Pregnancy Yoga is a specialised practice that honours the unique needs of the pregnant body. In my classes, I focus on gentle movement, breath awareness, relaxation, and building a deeper connection between mother and baby.

Each session includes:

  • Gentle stretches to relieve tension
  • Safe strengthening exercises to support the body during pregnancy
  • Breathwork to calm the nervous system and prepare for labour
  • Relaxation and meditation
  • Mindful movement that supports body awareness
  • Every pregnancy is different, and I always adapt my sessions so that each mother feels comfortable, supported, and safe.

The Benefits of Pregnancy Yoga

Over the years, I have seen how powerful this practice can be for expectant mothers.

Physical Benefits

Pregnancy yoga can help:

  • Reduce back pain and pelvic discomfort
  • Improve posture as the body changes
  • Strengthen pelvic floor and supportive muscles
  • Improve circulation and reduce swelling
  • Increase flexibility and mobility
  • Ease tension in the neck, shoulders, and hips
  • Many mothers also tell me they sleep better and feel more energised when practising regularly.

Emotional and Mental Benefits

Pregnancy is not only a physical journey โ€” it is also an emotional one.

Through breath, movement, and relaxation, pregnancy yoga can help you:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Feel calmer and more grounded
  • Connect more deeply with your baby
  • Build confidence in your body and its natural wisdom

My intention is to create a space where you can slow down, listen to your body, and experience the beauty of this journey.

Preparing for Birth

One of the most valuable aspects of pregnancy yoga is the way it prepares you for labour.

In my practice, we explore breathing techniques and body awareness practices that can help you during childbirth by learning how to:

  • Stay calm and centred
  • Work with the rhythm of your breath
  • Relax the body during intense moments
  • Trust the natural strength of your body
  • Many mothers find that these practices give them a greater sense of confidence and calm when approaching birth.

A Safe and Supportive Practice

Your safety and wellbeing are always my priority.

All movements and exercises are carefully adapted to support the pregnant body. I offer variations and adjustments to ensure that every participant feels comfortable, whether you are new to yoga or already experienced.

However, I always recommend that mothers consult their healthcare provider before starting any new exercise routine during pregnancy.

My Journey in Yoga and Healing

Yoga and movement have shaped my life in profound ways.

As a long-standing member of the International Yoga Alliance Professionals, I have spent many years studying and practising different forms of yoga, holistic movement, and integrative healing.

My journey has taken me across more than 60 countries, where I have lived, studied, and explored different approaches to wellbeing. Each culture has added depth and perspective to the way I teach today.

Being able to communicate in seven languages allows me to connect with students from many backgrounds. For me, teaching yoga is not only about movement โ€” it is about understanding people, their stories, and their needs.

My Teaching Philosophy

My teaching is rooted in inclusivity, embodiment, and compassion.

I believe that every person deserves a practice that honours their unique body and life experience.

Over the years I have specialised in a wide range of practices, including:

  • Vinyasa Yoga
  • Hatha Yoga
  • Bikram Yoga
  • Yin Yoga
  • Chair Yoga
  • Pilates and Body Balance
  • Meditation and Breathwork
  • Tai Chi and mindful movement

I also work with adaptive and neurodivergent approaches, including autism-friendly and trauma-aware practices.

Whether a class is dynamic or deeply restorative, my aim is always the same: to create a space where people feel safe to explore, release tension, and reconnect with themselves.

Holistic Healing

My work extends beyond movement into deeper healing practices that support the whole person.

These include:

  • Sound Bath Therapy
  • Reiki Massage and Energy Healing
  • Regression Hypnosis
  • Art Therapy for children and youths
  • Movement therapy through dance, music, and creative expression

These modalities allow me to support people physically, emotionally, and energetically.

A Practice for Every Mother

My pregnancy yoga classes are welcoming, supportive, and inclusive.

You do not need previous yoga experience. You simply need a willingness to listen to your body and give yourself the care and attention you deserve during this extraordinary time.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey through pregnancy with movement, breath, and compassion.

Wellbeing

Years long member of International Yoga Alliance Professionals, I am an experienced teacher and master practitioner of multistyle yoga, holistic movement, and integrative healing arts. My path has taken me across countries and continents โ€” living, working, and studying in diverse cultures that have shaped the way I teach, connect, and hold space for others. These experiences taught me that wellbeing is universal, yet deeply personal. They also gifted me the ability to communicate in seven languages, allowing me to support students from all backgrounds with sensitivity, nuance, and cultural understanding.
